Time Warping A Generation

Time slips through your fingers when you're not looking.

I did a solo road trip across the province yesterday. I hoped a ferry at 8am, and pulled into the Rockies by 6pm. Listened to an audio book, but it was only 3 hours, so it didn't really fill in the time. Put in a second audio book and voila! I'm here.

I'm in Jasper, Alberta. High in the Canadian Rockies and home away from home for me. Last night I met my 6 week old "great" niece Lucy, and as I assumed she would be - she's beautiful!! I'm looking forward to getting to know her better over the next couple of days.

I left the husband, cats, and house behind - I only hope they can manager without me.

What a beautiful journey - especially the little pot of gold waiting for you at the end ;0)

Looks like to be a lovely vacation! I would love to be in the Canadian Rockies right about now. Cool mountainous northern alpine-ness.. to an ex-Arizona girl, that to me is the most exotic locale I can think of! Hugs and keep travellogue-ing!
