I have a new title

My husband and I decided to launch out and do some Christmas shopping on the last Saturday before Christmas. Crazy or what?

Anyway during errands I needed to drop an item off at a friends place. Angela is the daughter of a co-worker and she and her three children visit the office often for coffee and a visit. (Gotta love a casual work place). So I've got to know and love her three kids - a 2.5 yr old boy, a 4 yr old girl, and a 9 yr old girl.

I've grown very attached to the kids and I think the feeling is mutual.

When we dropped in on them today they had a couple of cousins over playing. We had quick chats and we left.

Angela called me a couple of hours later to tell me that she overheard this conversation between "K" (the 9 yr old) and her cousin:

Cousin: Who's LJ?
K: She's my adult best friend.
Cousin: What do you mean?
K: She's an adult and she's my best friend.

Now doesn't that warm the cockles of your ever-lovin' heart?

So great! Indeed, the cockles are warmed. My friend Judy just got back from NY and she saw her 6-year-old nephew (whom she just saw last month.) He ran up to her, touched her arm and said "we just keep running into each other!"

Awwww. That is sweet. If that doesn't make your heart sing....
